    I recently purchased my first smart phone at the at&t store located in the superstition mall on Power road in mesa arizona. As I said it was my first I phone so I knew nothing about how it worked. I instructed the sales person that along with the purchase of the phone I would require a transfer of a message package I had purchased with the phone I was using at the time and transfer the contact list that was in the phone and a tutorial on how the phone worked.   • Customer service is clearly deficient



    I contacted AT&T U-verse at the beginning of January, 2015; the sales person on the line was extremely polite. However, she was deceptive, as she never told me that the telephone package of $20.00/month with two hundred minutes of calls per month, only applied to calls made to other U-verse subscribers. Hence, if someone called a non-U-verse number, they were charged 7 cents per minute, per call. I found out about the latter, when I received my first bill.
