Terrible Customer Service! - AT&T U-Verse TV Customer Service
I don't usually write reviews or complaints about a company, I just resolve everything by phone or in person. But I just had THE WORST customer service expierience in my life with AT&T U-Verse. I will definitely be reporting this online to any and everyone I can think of. I've only had U-Verse for a month and today I was ready to cancel...and the next time I have to go thru this, I will.
Last month I was quoted $40 for digital tv and today I noticed that my first bill is $60. I also found that a charge of $10 for HD Technology(??) is added, but was never mentioned to me in the beginning, so that next month the bill would have been $70...NO WAY I WOULD PAY THIS FOR CABLE TV. I called customer service, got the run-around, got put on hold for approx 15 mins, only to be transferred to a line that just rang and rang, then had to call back and started all over again. I FINALLY got Matt on the phone, who seemed to know what he was doing, and I changed my U-Verse plan...for now. Finally, he tried to connect me to a line to find out about my $100 gift card that I was promised, but never received. That line was only an automated system that kept looping...it wouldn't even respond to the numbers I entered for assistance. HORRIBLE service!!!
